Modern slavery and human trafficking statement

Modern slavery and human trafficking statement

Modern Slavery Act 2015

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of fundamental human rights. It takes various forms, such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.

We are committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Citywire’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 2019.

Our staff

All our staff have appropriate right to work documentation in place.

We continually review our supply chain and take appropriate steps to ensure that we do not use a supply chain that involves modern slavery.

We will continue to assess our policies and amend our procedures, where needed, as the company’s supplier chain changes.

Supplier adherence to our values

We have zero tolerance to slavery and human trafficking. We expect all our business partners to comply with our values. We aim to review our supply chain and identify higher risk suppliers. We expect all our suppliers to conform to our policies on anti-slavery.

To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we educate our staff and work with our business partners on an ongoing basis.
